On an alien world, Alec finds himself inexorably drawn into an ancient war between two races – the elves and the orb – a war that has been raging across the multiverse for millions of years. The young scientist’s knowledge of dark energy – a force that flows through all the multiverse – is all that separates him from defeat at the hand of both elf and orb.
I write this first book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse. Orbs have fought a losing battle to stop the Elf domination since the time-before-time. Battles have raged on uncounted worlds across the multiverse. Earth is a backwater, elf herd world, where it’s wild herd of orbs (called humans locally) are not even aware of their Elf masters, or of their insidious plans.
On Earth, Alec Holden, a promising young scientist, is excited to be working at the prestigious North Atlantic Institute in the new field of dark energy. He finds himself accidentally (deliberately?) transported to an alien world, where he encounters Erin Thelander, a woman with a regal bearing, but wearing a slave collar.
Unaccustomed to the barbaric ways in this alien place, Alec quickly finds that he must depend on Erin’s knowledge in the fight for their lives. The young scientist’s knowledge of dark energy – a force that flows through all the multiverse – is all that separates them from defeat at the hand of both elf and orb.
Is it science? Is it magic? Does it Matter? Erin hails Alec as a “Great Wizard,” and he realizes that only his knowledge of science and dark energy will allow them to survive. Alec must learn to use his medallion and its tricrystal in new ways to harness dark energy and stave off certain death. Hostile elves, an angry dragon, and the treachery of Erin’s step-father, all stand in the way between Alec, Erin, and his homeland.
I write this second book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse.
Alec, a research scientist and dark energy expert, has not found a way to return to his home world, and has grown to accept his adopted planet, Nevia, with its Five Moons. Alec and his consort, Erin, Princess of Theland, leave their two children and go on a quest to subdue a dragon terrorizing a remote village. Instead, they are swept up in a cull as the elves raid the surrounding lands for captives to transform into drones – obedient slaves.
Erin is captured as she attempts to thwart the elves’ cull. Alec is forced to take a desperate journey into the heart of the elf lands to free Erin. They escape by making a risky one-way transport to Alec’s home world – Earth. On an Earth that is no longer familiar, they struggle to gain a foothold. To their dismay, they find that the elves have long been on Earth and are preparing to stage a Grand Cull to harvest the entire human population. The Grand Cull will transform the suitable humans into drones, and eradicate the rejects.
Alec must find a new source of dark energy in order to survive. When they return to Alec’s former research institute, they discover that Alec has a daughter, Celeste, who has already been targeted by the elves. The three of them work frantically to find a means to escape before the elves harvest them – or destroy them.
I write this third book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse.
The elves are actively carrying out their grand cull on earth with the help of the terrible hydra. Tens of thousands of people are being harvested. Alec's daughter, Celeste, has been harvested by the elves and taken to their conversion facilities where she will soon become an obedient drone if they do not rescue her. Erin's is torn between her desire to return to Nevia, and to attempt to rescue Celeste.
They must find the mysterious resistance of off-world orbs to help them. Together with Alder they make a desperate dash to rescue Celeste before she is irretrievably lost, only to encounter even more elf problems.
I write this fourth book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse.
Celeste is rescued, but is not free. She is on Earth and under the control of the elf Tarran, while Erin and Alec have been forced to return to Nevia. There, they find a changed landscape. Two factions of elves are warring with each other, and her people are caught in the middle. Erin must align with one faction that was once her enemy, to save Theland. Only a dragon – the ancient weapon-beast of the Dragon Queen – has the power to defeat this new onslaught. To do that she must find and bond the dragon. Even then the victory is not guaranteed, and the price of saving her land and her children may be her life.
I write this fifth book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse.
Celeste has freed herself from the clutches of the Elves and joins Erin on Nevia. With the scepter that Celeste brings, the cleverness of Alec, the great wizard, as well as her bond with the dragon, they have a chance to win the next battle between her enemies and the Xamoi. Only she can win it for her enemies. Then she must find a way to end the war or be condemned to endlessly fighting. Once the war is over, she still needs to help Celeste fight the hydra on Earth, or else condemn everyone on Earth to destruction.
I write this sixth book in the chronicle to describe the events that are changing the multiverse.
A tentative peace has been reached between Erin and the dragon-Queen. That peace has a price. It depends on successfully capturing the hydra on Earth and transferring them to the dragon-queen. No one has captured hydra, and in addition to the hydra they must face a world of angry elves. Celeste must prepare the way for Erin and her dragon in the face of overwhelming odds. If she fails she will condemn both worlds to destruction.
